For England, for home, and for the prize!

Well folks here we are back again. Presenting our projects for the 2014 installment of the Guns of April ! As you all have seen we are covering skirmish sized warbands for Napoleon in Egypt. Unlike last year where I posted numerous photos of the ACW project over many months, I decided to just make one post due to the smaller scope of this project.

For this years project I have the privalge to present you with my take on a British Royal Navy landing party with a detachment of Royal Marines. Below are some shots of the landing parties and Marines. The miniatures I used this year were from a few manufacturers. The Royal Navy officers and Jack Tars are from Brigade Games. The Royal Marines are a combo of Perry Miniatures plastic British Line Infantry with white metal Royal Marine heads from Victrix LTD.

It is nice photos. To win the war, it is important to have best quality guns and good firearm training.

Without best pellet gun ever we can't about hunting. It is very important tool. For enjoyable hunting we need good quality air rifle guns.

About THE GUNS OF APRIL

We are a group of wargaming friends who have decided to work on an historical wargaming project each year for the great wargaming convention - AdeptiCon.

For AdeptiCon 2016, we'll be working on a massive Battle of Kursk game. Stay tuned for details of other possible events too.

Sadly, due to real-life circumstances, we had to cancel our AdeptiCon 2015 game.

For AdeptiCon 2014, we put on a smaller, but quite colorful, series of skirmish games set in Alexandria (Egypt) in 1800-01. Based on tales of Napoleon's expedition to the Nile Delta, and the uncovering of the Rosetta Stone. Again, fun was had : )

For Adepticon 2013 we played another "what if?" game based on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863. It was also a great deal of fun!

For AdeptiCon 2012, we played out a "what if?" scenario for the Battle of Salamanca, 1812, at it was a lot of fun.
